My Mayflower Connection
My Mayflower Connection
When researching a family tree, people are often trying to link to some famous person or event in history. Well here is my story ... and it covers not one but a family of four who came over on the Mayflower from Plymouth, England in 1620. Their story is quite unique ... it is not everybody who can claim to have been related to the first man hung in America!

P.S. My ancestor was identified as a "Stranger" as he was not a member of the Puritan group which identified themselves as "Saints". Now, 400 years later, we have not made much progress as most of my family today would be identified as a "deplorable"!
